Famous First Edition C-26 Action Comics #1
Famous First Edition Limited Collectors’ Golden Mint Series was a treasury-sized series reprinting the first appearances of superheroes from DC’s Golden Age. Its numbering format was shared with the Limited Collectors’ Edition “C-Series”. Initially, the series ran from 1974 to 1979 with nine issues. In 2020, the series was briefly revived with #C-63.
Famous First Edition Vol 1 C-26 reprinted Action Comics #1. Faithfully reproduces all the ads, original illustrations, and stories. A glossy cover reproduction was surrounded by the heavier 1st Edition wraparound cover.
Lyle Stuart, Inc. produced a hardcover version of this book. Red binding hardcover with the 1st Edition cover included as a dust jacket. Aside from a price of $5, the contents are similar.
