United States Postal Service Superman Stamp Commemorative Edition
Special Commemorative Edition reprints the entire first appearance of Superman from 1938 complete with original advertisements. Additional half-cover featuring the Superman stamp from the U.S. Postal Service’s “Celebrate the Century” commemorative stamp series, along with a “First Day of Issue” postmark. It was sold by the U.S. Postal Service. Cover price $7.95.
If someone removes the outer half-cover, there is little to distinguish this edition from others except for any change in the cover image and details. It appears identical to the Loot Crate (2017) version.
Some copies have been found missing the stamp and postmark from the front half-cover.
